ME 200 — 1958 Messerschmitt KR200

An original-specification 1958 KR200 in full running order, still wearing its original patina. Tandem seating sits beneath a side-hinged, aircraft-style acrylic canopy, while a 191cc Fichtel & Sachs two-stroke drives a 4-speed gearbox via a cockpit-side hand lever. A remarkable survivor.

A red 1959 KR200 wearing the clear bubble canopy and tandem seating that made the Kabinenroller famous. Mechanically it matches the ME 200 — 191cc Fichtel & Sachs two-stroke, hand-lever gearchange — and gives the collection a second surviving example of the model.
